About
“But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.”
(1 Corinthians 15: 57-58)
US: Our congregation is growing (currently 40-45), but we are strong in faith! Our people are from various walks of life, but alike in our desire to live according to the word of God. Our members and friends are “scattered” over the miles, but we rejoice that God has brought us together. We look forward to growth – not only in numbers – but in HIS wonderful truth.
BELIEFS: We believe in God, our Heavenly Father and in His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ. We believe in the miraculous conception of Jesus, that He was born of the virgin Mary, and that He lived on earth as fully God and fully human. We believe that God, because of His love for mankind, sent Jesus to bring the good news of the coming Kingdom of God and to be our Savior. We believe that Jesus was crucified as the only perfect sacrifice for our sins, that He died on the cross, was sealed in a tomb, and after three days and three nights, He arose – ALIVE – and ascended to heaven, where He is at the right hand of God, the Father.
As Christians, we believe that the Laws of God apply to us today, including the observance of His 7th Day Sabbath and the Biblical feasts of the Lord.
We believe that one must repent of his sins, and be baptized into the Body of Christ to receive the Holy Spirit as Christ teaches us; as set forth in the Bible. We believe in the sanctity of marriage and the family.
We believe that we are to love our fellow man, including our enemies. We believe that we are saved only by God’s grace, and that we shall be rewarded according to our deeds. We believe that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, will return to earth in all His glory at the resurrection. Our hope for eternal life rests in the power of Jesus Christ to resurrect believers at the last day. We believe the whole Bible is the divinely inspired word of God containing His plan of salvation and the record of His participation in history, and forms the basis of Christianity.
